WHO WE ARE.
RENO PEDIATRICS is the fulfilment of the vision Dr. Loffredo, Dr. Riar, and Dr. Winder have to provide quality pediatric care to infants, children and adolescents in a supportive and nurturing office setting. It is the culmination of over 50 years of combined experience and a determination to see our patients reach their maximum potential.
Vincent A. Loffredo, M.D.
Dr. Loffredo graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1996 with a degree in Biological Chemistry. He graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the UCSF-Fresno program in 2004 and has practiced medicine in Reno since 2005.
Dr. Loffredo has worked as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He has instructed numerous medical students in the art of pediatric care and has helped to shape the future of our medical community. When not working, Dr. Loffredo enjoys reading about current topics including politics and sports. He is an avid consumer of science fiction novels and movies. He enjoys spending free time with gardening, cooking and playing video games.
Dr. Loffredo is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Anju Riar, M.D.
Dr. Riar graduated from the University of California, Davis. She attended The Chicago Medical School and completed her Pediatric residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Riar is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
James Winder, M.D.
Dr. Winder grew up in Fallon, and graduated from UNR in 1978. He and his wife Cheryl graduated from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1982 and completed Pediatric Residency training in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 1986. They practiced pediatrics in Fallon until moving to Reno in 1992. Cheryl lost her battle with cancer in 2007 and Dr. Winder joined the University of Nevada School of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics. Working with medical students fulfilled a long-time aspiration of teaching for Dr. Winder.
Dr. Winder spends time as possible with his hobby of photography, and enjoys doing so while hiking and four-wheeling in the Eastern Sierras.
Dr. Winder is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
